Founded in April 2023, HERO was born from a desire to bring RC racing back to the region after more than 20 years without a local club. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving hub for RC enthusiasts of all ages.
At HERO, our mission is simple:
- 🔧 Promote the hobby of radio-controlled racing in a supportive, fun, and fair environment.
- 🏁 Encourage competition while fostering sportsmanship and respect – on and off the track.
- 👨👩👧👦 Build a community where families and individuals alike can enjoy the thrill of racing whilst learning practical skills to build and repair their cars that can be put to use in their daily lives.
We believe in the BRCA values of #RaceWithRespect, where everyone is welcomed and treated fairly and encouraged to take part.
🏎️ What We Race
We specialize in 1/10 scale and smaller 2S-powered electric off-road vehicles, with a wide range of classes to suit every interest and skill level:
- Fun Class – For Ready-to-Run (RTR) cars, Tamiya models, and wheelie machines. A great way to start!
- 2WD Buggy – From beginner-friendly models to race-proven platforms like Xray XB2, Schumacher LD, and Team Associated B6/B7.
- 4WD Buggy – Competitive machines including the Xray XB4, Schumacher L1, and Team Associated B74 series.
- 2WD Truck – Stadium and Short Course Trucks (SCT) for drivers who love a wild race.
- Iconic RC – Vintage and iconic models from the golden days of RC.
- Micro Class – Small but mighty: 1/14 scale and under for tight, technical racing action.
